If you have already heard from your medical provider about receiving the vaccine, you do not need to do anything else. Please do not reach out to your doctor or medical provider about the vaccine if they have not contacted you.
The confidential and secure CT WiZ and VAMS systems include patients’ vaccination records.
The goal is to vaccinate everyone in Connecticut against COVID-19. As vaccines are available, this phased roll out will be announced and posted at Phases (ct.gov). This vaccine is FREE. We will NOT ask for Social Security Number, financial information or citizenship status.
If you are 75 years of age or older and have questions about Vaccine appointment scheduling options, please visit:
https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccination---75-and-older. While appointments may not be available immediately, please know that the State continues to be limited by the amount of vaccine provided to us by the federal government. The Department of Public Health is continuing to enroll providers and staff, and we expect that access to appointments will grow, particularly for priority populations, as our supply from the federal government increases in the coming weeks.
Information regarding eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination, common vaccine questions and enrolling staff who meet vaccination criteria based on occupation is available on the State of Connecticut COVID-19 Response webpage at:
https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/COVID-19-Vaccinations.
Recipients who qualify for vaccination based on their occupation should receive information from their employer regarding scheduling through the State’s Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) or working through another provider.
